Sales Key Account Manager (M/F/Q) Feed and Pet food - DACH & Eastern Europe

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the great Limagrain Ingredients team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Pet Food and Feed portfolio across selected international key accounts and areas. Your primary focus will be on business development, while also nurturing and expanding existing relationships to meet and exceed budget targets.

Core Duties:

  • Sales & Business Development

    • Drive sales of the Pet Food and Feed portfolio to international key accounts.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a strong focus on acquisition.

    • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with business objectives.

  • Account Management

    • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and new customers.

    • Understand customer organizations, identify key decision-makers, and tailor solutions to their needs.

    • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between customers and internal teams (Sales, Marketing, R&D).

  • Customer Engagement

    • Conduct regular customer visits to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

    • Translate customer needs into customized, value-added solutions.

    • Act as a liaison in innovation projects, ensuring smooth coordination between internal departments and clients.

  • Market Presence

    • Represent Limagrain Ingredients at relevant national and international trade fairs and industry events.

    • Collaborate effectively within an international matrix organization.

    • Report directly to the Key Account Manager.


Vereisten

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong customer orientation and a results-driven mindset.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.

  • University degree, preferably in Commercial Studies or Feed Technology.

  • Solid experience in a commercial role, ideally with major Pet Food companies and regional Feed businesses.

  • Willingness to travel international.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).

  • Skilled negotiator with strong interpersonal abilities.

Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented with a positive attitude.
